European Territorial Cooperation

European Territorial Cooperation, as the second objective of the cohesion policy for the 2014-2020 period, refers to the creating of a basis for the development of coordinated, systematic and strategically directed cooperation on the local, regional and central government level with partners from neighboring countries and other European Union regions.

This would, through a common approach at the appropriate administrative and territorial level, reduce the negative impact of state borders and promote social-economic cohesion.

In the current financial period, the Republic of Croatia can fully participate in all three parts of the European Territorial Cooperation:
